Weekend Edition: June 16-17

Happy weekend! Join me for a photo exhibit of my week. It's a short one. No refreshments are provided. (sorry.)

Because sometimes life just hands you lemonade.

 Hilarious cake toppers fit in at weddings. I mean, traditions already involve shoving cake in each others' mouths and forcing a strange mix of loved ones to all get to know each other. It's only appropriate to approach the whole event with a smile and a sense of humor. My cousin Naomi and her new husband John did just that.

My aunt has beautiful landscaping around her house (I have to swallow my envy every time I go there). I was captured by what seemed to be frilly symmetry. So, of course, I took a picture of it. I treasure the looks on my relatives' faces, when they watch me tiptoe around, shooting pictures. They're intrigued and confused. :smirk
